Training courses at ASAMnet

Usually, the training courses take place at the "Emailfabrik", in Marien-Straße/Emailfabrikstraße 12, first floor above the cafe "Kult" in the rented premises of ASAM. You can get there via elevator and there are also restrooms for handicapped people.

In the multimedia training classroom, internal courses are presented (trainer from ASAM) as well as external ones.The tables, on which the computers are located, may be arranged in any order, so that classroom teaching or teamworking is possible. Our video projector allows you to present your monitor view at silver screen. For presentations you can also use our sound system. A network printer as well as a CD-Writer (included in PC1) for data backup is available.

The ten workstation computers (Intel Celeron 2800 with 256 to 512 MB RAM) work with WinXP Professional as operating system. The computers are protected against accidentally deleting files by "HDD Sheriff". The computers are networked with each other and also have direct access to the Internet.
The latest versions of Browsers (Seamonkey, Firefox, Thunderbird and Internet Explorer),  file transfer clients (Putty und Filezilla), Office applications (Open office and MS Office XP)  and various tools (e.g. DirectX 9 and Acrobatreader) are installed.

Pricing for internal and external trainings

The fees for a lesson (45 minutes) depend on the presenter/organizer of the training and are announced along with the advertisement for the respective training.
